Put your hands through the string.

Wrap the string around your hands while keeping your thumb out of the string.

Take your middle finger and put it into the loop on the inside of the shape held by the second person.

Using your middle finger put the string through the other hand’s loop.

Locate the area where an X is made. There will be 2 Xs

Take the string where the other player has their thumb and forefinger and pinch the two X’s with your fingers

Pinch the X’s, and move your hands.

Point fingers down through the sides then push them up through the middle while pulling the string gentlyat the same time.

Let the cat’s cradle slide out of the first person’s hands and into the hands of the second player.

Repeat the process
